Handyman Special: Better than being homeless

Tomorrow is closing! The adventure is about to begin!

Brian and Angela bought me 4 new Kenmore appliances today.  They were all on sale, of course.   They are all black and match together perfectly.  Angela wouldn’t have it any other way.

Not much else going on at the moment.  Just over a week until closing!

I’m so happy with my new people. Even thought they don’t technically own me yet, they have been buy a bunch of times to visit. They even brought over this “inspector” guy that took a close look at all of my insides and outsides. It was stressful at first, thankfully nothing major was wrong.

Most of the rest of Brian and Angela’s family has been over as well. The opinions have been mostly good, even though they tell me that I need a lot of work. Brian will do a good job, though.

I can’t wait until they start fixing me up. I’m going to get new heating and cooling, carpet, bathroom, kitchen and all new appliances! Not to mention the clean up job in the yard. Angela has the idea to paint the rooms in the house according to color psychology. Green for the bedroom for relaxation, light red in the bathroom for tranquility, blue and yellow in the office for productivity and concentration.

A few days ago, a couple of people came to look at me. Although I have to say, I wasn’t looking my best. My previous owner got a little upset when he found out that he didn’t get to keep me and decided that he was going to stain the carpet and walls before he left.

Anyway, I didn’t expect anyone to want to buy me. My outside is full of weeds, my basement is old and the rest of me needs some serious updating. Then this Brian guy came along and saw something in me that I didn’t see in myself. Angela, on the other hand, had a different idea. She was afraid that some big bug was going to crawl out of some hole in the wall and get her.

Who would have thought that a few days later, they were back. They were making an offer. And so my journey as a home continues.
